Start Rehab!!! 🌻

Learn to breathe properly using the Flow Controlled Breathing© Method and combine this with exercises to build strength which will quickly and effectively reduce your shortness of breath.

You will also learn proper posture to ensure your body, lungs and diaphragms are working at peak performance to help you breathe so much better and reduce the anxiety of struggling with a pulmonary condition so it won’t feel as scary.

My journey with David began the first of this year when my pulmonologist prescribed pulmonary rehab. I have a paralyzed right hemi-diaphragm and was diagnosed with bronchiectasis and asthma. I used a percussion vest everyday to clear mucus as well as inhalers. David has taught me how to breathe for my condition and my oxygen saturation during moderate activity has increased from 94, 95 to 98, 99 and my pulse rate has decreased from 125, 130 to 97,98. He has taught me correct posture, and now I do aerobic exercises, balance as well as other strength building exercises. I just turned 71, I no longer use the vest everyday and no inhalers. My diaphragm will probably never work again but as long as I breathe the way he taught me, it's not a problem. I have lost weight in the last 2 months as well and I can do so many things so easily that were difficult before. We meet twice a week for 30 minutes and the benefit has been phenomenal. I honestly feel years younger. David has a vast knowledge of exercises no matter what condition you're in. Starting out he tailored a plan for me as my breathing was difficult. He increased the difficulty as we progressed to now I'm actually doing planks! But it's all at my comfort level. The cost per visit is about the same as the co-pay for my pulmonologist or physical therapy and I consider it an investment in me and my well-being. This is a long post but I can't stress enough how awesome the programs David has developed are and he does these exercises himself! If you think David can help you take him up on the free consultation. If you decide to try the program I guarantee in a short time you'll be really glad you did!<br />

 The 7 Keys to Success

1. Please understand that this is a process, NOT a quick fix.

2. Remember to practice our proprietary FCB© breathing method and combine it with all movements/exercises.

3. Do your homework! Try to do your exercises 4-5 days per week.

4. Go at your own pace! Your body will get stronger especially if you perform your exercises consistently and coordinate your breathing properly with your movements.

5. Focus on proper posture & body alignment – feet straight, fist width apart, shoulders down and slightly pinched and a level chin.

6. Tell us if you notice your body is compensating during the exercises (such as leaning to one side) or any pain/discomfort.

7. Follow up with us to discuss your progress in an open and honest manner.

How many sessions will I need?

The standard curriculum is twice (2x) per week for 15 weeks. I always say ‘start with 10 sessions and see the results’.

Most of my clients continue because they have noticed it helps improving their breathing and their quality of life and they want to complete the curriculum.

What is the Junga Method©?

At Junga Health, we believe that true wellness comes from the harmonious integration of mind, body, and spirit.

The Junga Method is the embodiment of this philosophy, a comprehensive approach designed to help you breathe better, get stronger, and live longer—all with improved posture and less pain.

Our proprietary Flow Controlled Breathing© technique lies at the heart of the Junga Method. Developed in 1999, this innovative approach has been the foundation of our successful Pulmonary Rehabilitation practice for over two decades.

In 2011, we recognized the powerful synergy between pulmonary care and posture therapy, leading us to integrate Posture Therapy into Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Flow Controlled Breathing© into Posture Therapy.

This fusion created a unique, holistic model that empowers our clients to take control of their health and well-being.

Our Journey

The Junga Method© began in 2011, when our founder, David Junga, RRT, PAS, saw the need to expand the benefits of Pulmonary Rehabilitation by incorporating Posture Therapy.

David understood that proper posture is essential not only for physical alignment but also for optimal breathing and overall health.

By adding Flow Controlled Breathing© to Posture Therapy, he created a revolutionary approach that addresses the body as a whole.

The results were immediate and remarkable. Our clients began experiencing significant improvements in their health, from increased lung capacity and reduced pain to better posture and a stronger sense of well-being.

This transformative combination of therapies solidified our place as pioneers in the therapy world.
